One more light, each day
NEHORA takes its name from the Aramaic word for light. This hanukkiah in Thassos Snow White has an octagonal body: eight sides for the eight days of Hanukkah. Each day, the body is rotated to reveal a place for one more candle.
A limited edition of just 26 pieces.
Light revealed through movement
Rotation becomes part of the lighting ritual. With each evening, another light is added and the octagonal form finds its meaning in use. The principle of adding a light each day becomes a simple gesture: turn the stone, make room for another candle.
